On arrival, a staff advised that we go next door where they had a trolley dim sum service instead of the restaurant which must have been a la carte. Same restaurant just different service options. Both were super busy a good sign. We managed to get a table straight away didn't book ahead. A large venue with non stop trolley service and options. Many items I hadn't seen before so I was glad my Chinese friend could recommend new dishes. The Sui mai, dumplings, duck and Asian greens were familiar but the black buns and other delicacies were not. They didn't serve Chinese pancakes and their radish cake was cut into small cubes, not the large square. It didn't taste the same and was more oily being cooked in smaller pieces. Overall, the food was fresh, hot, plentiful and delicious. The pur er tea was appreciated. We had more than enough and took plenty away for later. Staff are efficient and helpful. I was too taken in with the food to take more photos of all the items ordered so am unsure of names of what we ate. It doesn't matter go and try and enjoy.
As previous visits have used for a takeaway as staying very close by i think this can be a hit or a miss service can be very erratic but seafood rice always pretty good and quantity more than adequate duck and seaweed particularly fine mixed reports about restaurant but very happy with take away and would use again
Cannot believe the last two poor ratings. We ate a marvellous dim sum meal here today. Maybe we were lucky but we only wait 10 minutes for a table, this was for 2 of us at 12:20 on a Wednesday. The food was fabulous, fresh and full of flavour. My husband grew up eating Chinese food and has spent time in Hong Kong so he recognises great dim sum. For 90 AUS dollars we ordered more food than we could eat plus drinks. Takeaway boxes were available. It was great to have old-fashioned trolley service. The only slight downside, the takeaway boxes leaked into the paper bag we were given making a bit of a mess but of course plastic bags are a no-no these days. First world problems!
We have been waiting for long for our number to be called. They didn't call at all. And Give our table to other people after us. The manager said he called us before, but that is just ridiculous, because we never heard our number had been mentioned. My mom was sitting down inside and I wait just at the entrance. The manager just give our table to the customer that can speak the same language. We waste our time and parking fee
I've been trying to convince my wife to come here for years. She finally agreed unfortunately. Worst Dim Sum I've had in Perth. I'm actually scared of getting sick after eating.
