I went there with my daughter in May, the restaurant has comfortable seats and a casual setting. It's relaxing for an afternoon or evening outting with family or friends around with Taiwanese style of delightful nibblings and meals.
This is a really chill out place if you want the relax atmosphere of being in Taiwan. The food is no gourmet but it's affordable, authentic and wide range for such a cool place. The TV is on with Taiwanese Game show for the duration of operations. There's dart games, pool tables and tons of Comic books for you to just hang out. We find the chairs quite unique and comfortable, lounge round-back chairs on wheels. The Bubble tea is pretty good (to me). Go and experience a little Taiwan right in Perth.
This restaurant is unique, combining a library, billiard pool and restaurant all in one. The bookshelves have many Chinese comics and books, whilst the adults can entertain themselves with billiards pool. Their large screen TV shows Taiwanese shows (just like being back in Taiwan). They have an impressive list of food, ranging from the noodles and snacks, to the bubble tea range. Their chairs are large and comfy, much bigger than what is usually found in eateries and restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!
Stumbled upon this place one day when looking for somewhere cool to eat cheap and drink some bubble tea. It has now become our favourite place to go for ANY occasion be it a casual lunch or a special occasion. Menu is mainly Taiwanese/Japanese with rice, noodles, tofu, steamboat, salted fish and more plus a whole menu alone of beverages such as soft drink juices and of course Bubble tea with pearls, jelly, milk or without) Mains are of a large size so you could easily share a few with freinds or do like we did once and order several entrees. Everything is good, especially recommend the seafoods steamboat. You get a metal pot over a little kerosene burner full of bubbling soup that has glass noodles with several different fish balls in it prawns tofu and some other things that I am not sure what they are called but they are tasty my best guess is sour plums and some type of yellow petals) and a small bowl of rice. There is bento boxes too and udon soup and lots of other dishes like crispy chicken, pork rib, squid and so on. There is lots of comics and other stuff to entertain you like Billards/pool and Darts. The biggest highlight for us is the big comfortable tub chairs on wheels. Visit here, try something different, read a comic, watch some TV. Yes you need to speak Taiwense /Korean to fully understand the comics or the TV shows...and yes most of the time we are the only non Asian ps in there...but we just look at pictures and just enjoy people watching.
