The Cromwell Cottage - Northampton

We arrived early but was shown to our table with no waiting around…unfortunately it went down hill from there… the drinks order was wrong and then I was served a different sandwich from the one I ordered and then they forgot the chunky fries….BUT all issues were rectified swiftly and our wonderful newly appointed waitress did an excellent job of smoothing over the errors made and even gave us a little discount on our bill which was a lovely gesture.

We went there for lunch to celebrate my birthday . The service was prompt and the staff were very courteous. The food came hot and there was plenty of it. We look forward to Our next visit to the Cromwell Cottage.

Not bad for a roast lunch but they had run out of cracking. Nothing else offered so I asked for extra. Parsnips as only had 1 on my plate !!

The food takes a bit of time to come but then you would expect it to as it is freshly cooked to your liking. The quality is always excellent and we have never been disappointed. It is our favourite restaurant locally

We were a lot of time, but this time baked spuds heated up and port fat and the same old menus don't suffer back until bigger menus and changed????
