My husband and I have been dining at this restaurant about 2-3 times a year for many years. We love the dumplings and have always had a great experience. Unfortunately, during a recent visit with family, we were surprised to be charged £3.50 for a jug of water and 50p for a takeaway box. We don't mind paying extra, but it would have been better if we had been informed of these charges beforehand. In all our previous visits, water was always complimentary, even when we asked for tap water. We felt disappointed by this unexpected change.
I recently enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Savas Kiemas to celebrate my Lithuanian husband's birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Lithuanian restaurant in Northampton and will certainly be returning. The soups were delicious, but the standout dish was the Cepelinas, served with bacon and sour cream. My family agreed that they were just as good as those we had in Vilnius. The portions were generous, allowing us to take some leftovers home in doggy bags. I highly recommend Savas Kiemas if you're in search of authentic Lithuanian cuisine.
Waitress very unproffesional. Music is to loud , because of that eceryone is shouting. Very unconfortable. Ones we waited ovwr an hour for food and arrived cold. Waitres dont even apologies. For owner to look at this issue. But in general food is nice and fresh. Portions is hudge and price is reasonable. I recomend it. Place is clean and nice.
