India House - Northampton

Okay, so Cindy, I love Indian food, so we're a little biased, but here we are. The owners Alka Omi (which I do not cut the spelling of their name) are so attentively friendly that it is worth going there to meet their wonderful family staff. The food is not good, it is excellent. The side of Brussel sprouts sweet potatoes with cracked coriander and pomegranate was worth it just for this! Amazing! The Aloo Gobhi Palak fresh cauliflower, spinach and potatoes with onions, ginger and tomatoes also winners. Great flavors texture. The Chatpate Chole (Alkas Mothers recipe! Chickpeas boiled with stone salt, darkened cumin, ginger and laurel leaves with tamarind and cilantro was delish! Finally, the Tandoori Chicken bone in pieces was the best I ever had! This place is a jewel! Don't wait to go in a few weeks when we're in Northampton! Thank you. Alka Omi! Mitch Cindy

It was excellent and very tasteful food And their service was very good I came from England and found my back home taste in MA Overall it was my good experience of selection of different food with excellent taste,portion , price and service Bravo ! Keep it good work

Got the cilantro chili chicken which was outstanding. I'm a big Indian food lover and this did not disappoint! They also have gluten free Roti Such a treat.

Best Indian restaurant!! The owners are so friendly and take such pride in the food they serve. We go here frequently and the food is perfect every time. The food and customer service is top notch! I would highly recommend it to anyone.
