Wimpy's Diner - North York

We stayed at a hotel near this restaurant and the breakfast was so bad. So we came to this Diner, the food and service was really good. Prices are good too.

Wimpy s takes me back many many years ...they are from England ..I have been to them in Africa when I was a young boy ...they have an attractive retort decor with many interesting posters and pictures !!!a great place for an early breakfast ...the service is fast I really enjoy their French toast ....

While building our home we stayed around the corner from Whimpy's Diner and must have eaten there 2-3 times a week over the 6 month period - Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners, and also middle of the night snacks.It's a Diner the way they are supposed to be. It doesn't try to be anything pretentious or unique - just a place that serves hearty, good food, fairly fast and for a decent price.Yes the servers can sometimes be less than gracious - but that's probably a lot to do with the clientele they are dealing with and the busy rushes they encounter. They're never outright rude, and in fact the attitude kind of adds to the flavour of the place.Wether you are looking for a solid breakfast, casual lunch, sloppy dinner or something to fill you up after a night out, Whimpy's fulfills!

Go elsewhere for a better burger! Preformed patty is terrible. No flavour. Sticky tables and dirty benches.

Совершенно случайно зашли в это заведение на обед, и остались весьма довольны: большой выбор еды, быстрое обслуживание, хорошое оформление зала в стиле 60х годов Америке, все это произвело приятное впечатление, и в дополнении ко всему весьма умеренные цены.
