I'd give more than 5 starts if I could! Ordered a cake at the 11th hour and these ladies more than delivered. Excellent craftsmanship, taste, and service! Would definitely visit again soon. Also, pretty sure they comp'ed part of my total order. THANK YOU a million times :

The Rolling Pin exceeded all expectations with our wedding cake. It was a stunning masterpiece, incredibly tasty, and left everyone raving about it. There was barely a crumb left by the end. Highly recommended!

We ordered a cake for a friends bday which we had no issue spending $220 for. With all the positive reviews and being seen on TV we knew we were going to get a great tasting cake. Once we started to eat it, though it was okay….we didn’t think it matched up to the price point. We have had cakes from all over the city and this would not cut top 5, yet it was the most expensive. Great customer service though

Before that, I was contemplating whether to request a gift card for the down payment on the cake. I ultimately decided on the gift card but never arranged to pick it up. A few months later, I emailed Rolling Pin and maintained constant communication with Vanessa about my new wedding date and the store credit I had. She never indicated any concerns during our exchanges. However, just two weeks before my wedding, I had a nagging feeling and decided to call the store to confirm everything. Unfortunately, I discovered there was a lack of communication between the two co-owners and that Vanessa was on maternity leave at the time. When I spoke with the other owner, she did not acknowledge my store credit gift card and also mentioned that they no longer had a cake stand for my donut tower. I mean, it’s a bakery! Given how close we were to the wedding date, we reached a compromise where I would get my cake stand and forgo the $180 credit. She assured me that she would honor the old prices for the cake and that someone would deliver and set it up at the venue. But on my wedding day, she informed me that they no longer do setups and tried to convince me that this had been our understanding all along. Then, unbelievably, she told me to have a great time. I ended up feeling completely unprepared, left with just a cake and a bunch of donuts in boxes. It's clear to me that this store has lost a loyal customer for good. I'm done with them.

The cupcakes were delicious, but good luck trying to reach them for order confirmation or customer service. I placed an order online and had to call over 30 times (no exaggeration) just to speak to someone about it. When I finally got through, the staff was rather curt, mentioning that they were busy and that it was "Saturday"—not exactly an excuse for a well-established bakery that charges premium prices for their products. They might want to work on their time management, hire more staff for busy times, or reconsider posting a phone number altogether.
