Katsuya - North York

This place is pretty huge, and they've got a lot food options on the menu. But the food let us down. I ordered the katsu curry, and my partner went for the Japanese katsu. The first thing we noticed was that the rice was super dry, almost like it was raw. The curry sauce was okay, and the Japanese katsu sauce had a very weird sourness to it. We've had tonkatsu before, so we weren't expecting that sour taste. All in all, not a great experience.

Not worth it don't waste your money.we waited so long. Katsue Doesn't taste chicken and sauce is just cream sauce not even taste like carbonara .uneven portion. place is so loud. You can even hear what's going on the kitchen plus loud music. Spent 25-30$.not worth it. The downtown location is so much better.This location used to be a small place and they serve good food before and nice and quiet. but now not sure what happened to this location after expanding the store.

WAIT forever!! Wait more than 35 min for a fries. Who cook fries for 35 min? And still waiting for actual food to come. NOT GETTING ANYTHING after seated for 10min, no water no cup. The Place looks like fast food res but wait time longer than steakhouse. Ridiculous ??‍

I ordered a loin Carbonara by Uber eats at the very last minute, and the quantity got very small then before, sauce is almost like a soup(feels like not enough time to boiled, and missing some of the ingredient in the sauce. It just not tasty as before). Very disappointed. I really loved this brand, but I think I’m not coming back to order again.

Got stomachache after eating food from here. Ordered chicken karaage, chicken does not seem fresh with strong smell and meat fall apart. Also ordered cheese crab croquettes, when you start eating and already fall apart, does not stay as a ball, taste not fresh at all. I have ordered many times from here and always have great experiences, But not this time. I hope you will improved your food quality and standard.
