Kfc - North York Industiral

Very disappointed with my order. I ordered my first Mary Brown experience and it was a bust. As I placed my order, the cashier was picking their nails. When my order was ready, the back of the house didn’t communicate what was put into the food window and the cashier didn’t bother to check. I had to ask for my food. When took a bite into my sandwich, it was tough to chew. I opened it up and found that a portion of the sandwich was not breaded! Just imaging frying skinless chicken you can imaging how dry and tough that is. Head office, if your reading this please send staff to oversee operations and provide adequate training. We were walking from the metro to get Banjara but there were a ton of people around this Mary Brown’s. It happens that this was their grand opening and the first 50 people got free chicken sandwiches. Bought 2 sodas and got one Original and one Spicy. I’m not from Canada so this was the first time trying it. It was super good, the crunch was definitely there, the sauce was good and the pickles were a good touch. Staff was nice as well as the corporate folks that were there. Waiting for one to open up in the US! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$1–10

Visited to try the Grand Opening special (2pc taters). Service was fairly quick with my order and food came out fresh. The chicken was a bit dry and didn’t have a lot of flavour (may be due to the original blend). Taters were crispy and not too salty. May be recommended to get the spicy over the original chicken for a stronger flavour/taste. Overall had no major issues with my experience given the fast service with my order. Understaffed. Trash service. Good chicken. One star for having an incompetent staff.

Chicken was awesome. Better than KFC or Popeyes. Taters and coleslaw put it over the top!
