Tai Pan Alley - North West London

I visited Malay Fellas to try their Malaysian laksa, and it was a great experience. The food was good and reasonably priced. I will definitely return to sample other Asian stalls. It's a wonderful addition to London's diverse food scene.

From the beginning, the service was disappointing. The restaurant was quite busy, so we decided to order online using the QR code since no one had approached our table. Unfortunately, we couldn't order drinks online, and it took a long time before anyone came to take our drink order. To make matters worse, my partner's main dish arrived an hour before mine, and there was no clear explanation or genuine apology, such as an offer to discount our bill. Overall, this made the experience quite unpleasant, and I wouldn’t choose to return.

What a fantastic hidden gem! It wasn't as crowded as it should have been. They have a great concept with different kitchens and table service. We tried dishes from each menu, and everything was delicious. It would be a lovely place for a date, a gathering with friends, or even a birthday dinner. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
