Vinnys Fish - North West Leicestershire

Had a large fish And chips £11.50 Fish ok , but batter soggy and greasy . Chips were not good. We threw them away .. Shame it can’t be crispy . Tried it a few times but never seems to get better

We rang to make an order to pick up by the time we got there it was all ready and waiting for us when unwrapping at home all was as we ordered still very hot and delicious the service was also very good we shall definitely be going there again

After a long day at work, we decided to treat ourselves to dinner at this restaurant. We ordered fish and chips as well as a donner kebab. Unfortunately, the chips were dry, the fish seemed to have more batter than actual fish, and the donner kebab was overpriced for the portion size. Overall, it was not as enjoyable of a meal as we had hoped for, and we do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.

I have used Vinnys for years. Good generous portions with friendly efficient staff. Can be hit and miss with the fish as are most chip shops) but great value and the best chippy in the area!!

I stopped by just for some curry sauce and mushy peas to go with the fish I was cooking at home. The service was friendly and even though I only spent £3, the staff took the time to chat with me. They even gave me a free lemon to go with my fish. I'll definitely be back for a full meal next time. Great service, keep it up!
