The Nag's Head Bistro

I visited this restaurant for the first time for a quick drink and pizza. The atmosphere was nice and the place had great potential as a pub. However, I was disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Even though there were only 4 other tables, it took 50 minutes for our pizza to arrive. When it finally did, it was the worst pizza I have ever had. The sauce tasted like a tin of tomatoes and there was an overwhelming amount of cheese on top. It was so heavy and greasy that I couldn't even pick up a slice without it falling apart.

Ever since the bistro had a new owner, the overall experience has greatly improved. They offer a wide variety of items on their menu, and during the pandemic, they have been serving delicious and affordable meals. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides quick service. I will definitely be returning in the future.
