Umberto's Pizzeria - North Wantagh

I ordered delivery and gave tip via phone. When the delivery driver arrived older man) I told him I already gave the tip when I ordered. He got REALLY nasty and actually yelled “WELL YOU DIDNT.” Side note this was in front of my friends. I treated for girls night. SO EMBARRASSING). I told him I did and I’m not sure what happened and he yelled again “I DIDNT GET A TIP YOU DID NOT TIP ME..SO..FORGET IT…FORGET IT” and started to leave, so I told him to hang on and I grabbed the only cash I had $20) and gave it to him. He didn’t even say thank you. I was so embarrassed. Must’ve been an error on the receptionists end. Pizza was overly oily as always). Never ordering from here again.

Very good food and pizza. It's definitely one of the best in Long Island. Quality ingredients used. Managed to perfection. The guys cooking the pizza stay in place at the oven, and every pie is consistently cooked properly. For the product they deliver the prices are very reasonable. Must try in Long Island.

After taking my order, my server was no where to be found. He never asked if we needed anything. Had to flag down a busboy to get the waiter so I could inquire about the status of our food, to get another beverage, etc.

Kid-friendliness: We loved everything about the restaurant, very nice restaurant clean lots of space and they were very friendly and fast i only had a takeout but I will definitely be there maybe next time we get to eat in it looks great for family and friends get together and they also have a party area.

It's not as good as the other Mario's in this chain. I've gotten great food here before, but last time, it was terrible. Don't order the rice balls. They are a mess. The pizza was scorched.
