It's under new management. Megan was the life of that place but now that she is gone there is nothing to go there for. The food sucks the quality is gone the place is empty most of the time. The only reason that I would go back is to see if the management changed. It is an embarrassment to take any of my clients there.
I went on my lunch break. Ordered a 1 piece fish n chips. Wasn't expecting the world, but it took 30 minutes, in an almost empty restaurant. When I got the fish n chips, the batter was super dark like they had not changed their oil in a month, the piece was TINY, and the quality of captain highliners frozen fish. Fries were OK, beer was tasty. The server, who was very sweet and friendly, didn't check on my during my meal, but only at the end, when I had to flag her down for the bill, did she ask how it was. Admittedly, I ate the whole thing, was not expecting a discount, as I ate it all since I was on lunch and did not have another 30 minutes to spare. I would go there for drinks, but never again for food. I still tipped 20% because the server was sweet, but the meal was $12 and for the quality, that was basically hwy robbery. Don't eat here. Gross.
A big thanks to the new owner, Jason. With his help I hosted a pancake breakfast and blanket drive there this morning. It went off without a hitch and I couldn't have done it without them! Thanks for you help in supporting our community! Also, the food is pretty good too, I really enjoyed the pizza and veggie wrap.
The owner is an innovative, genuine person, and my meal was wonderful! Boyfriend enjoyed his throughly as well. Waitress was thoughtful and very personable.
