Sushi Town In North Van

What sets Sushi Town apart is its commitment to quality and presentation. Each dish was artfully arranged, and the taste was just as impressive as its visual appeal. The staff was attentive and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed during our meal. Sushi Town has quickly become my favorite sushi spot in North Vancouver, and I can’t wait to return for another fantastic dining experience. If you love sushi, this place is a must-visit!

This was my second visit to this restaurant with friends. While I didn't enjoy the sushi during my previous trip, I found it to be much better this time around. I ordered fried shrimp with potatoes, but the shrimp was undercooked, and the potatoes were too sweet for my liking. Coming from an Iranian culinary background, I find it puzzling how a dish can be both bland and excessively sweet at the same time. Aside from my personal taste preferences, everything else was decent, although the restaurant was quite chilly, which made me want to eat quickly and move on.

The food used to be fantastic, but I'm not quite sure what's going on with this restaurant now. During our last visit, we ended up spending $80 just on rice! They've really cut back on both the quality and quantity of their ingredients. The service was just okay, and the atmosphere left much to be desired. I can't recommend this place at all.

We ordered a few sushi rolls, and while the Alaska roll had quite an unusual taste, the tempura California roll was delicious. Unfortunately, the male server was neither friendly nor professional. Throughout our meal, he didn’t say a word to us; he simply placed our dishes on the table without checking in on how we were enjoying the food or if we needed anything. It was after 9 PM, and the restaurant wasn't busy, so the lack of attention was disappointing. Overall, we were a bit let down by the service.

Terrible experience! I need to update my previous review and give them just one star. If I could, I would give them none. They are incredibly unhelpful when it comes to planning a birthday party. We held my son's birthday celebration here and requested that they bring the cake out after dinner. Initially, they refused, but after speaking with the manager, they agreed to serve the cake. However, when I asked them to bring it out, they presented it in a shocking manner. I couldn't believe my eyes. My son inquired about what was in the bag and opened it, ruining the surprise for him. I strongly advise against planning a birthday party at this location.
