Mythos Taverna - North Vancouver

We ordered spanakopita, and a main dish each. Food was good, although I found the potato a bit bland. Portions were nice and large though, so it's a great place if you are hungry.

Dinner with the parents. I ordered the lamb souvlaki and saganaki for appetizer. Service was fast and courteous. Portions were generous and tasty. The parents even had enough for lunch the next day.

This is my favourite Greek restaurant on the North Shore, maybe in Vancouver. There are other Greek restaurants that you might like more, but the atmosphere and treatment of customers here has to be added into the total mix. The waiters/waitresses are all very attentive. The lamb dishes here are incredible. The tsatziki and taramasalata also great.

Kavoos and Marisa are some of my favourite servers/bartenders on the north shore. A pleasure.Mythos has also been our go-to Greek for almost a decade. Usually, when family visits we often choose to bring them here or order take out and we're always happy campers. . . Or Eaters. There are some items that are available but not on the menu especially the crab-stuffed prawns. Great for a starter!

Usually mythos is our go to place for Greek food but on this visit the service was absolutely dismal, the food was ok - not great. For almost 20 minutes not one person came to ask if we needed anything. The restaurant wasn't super busy. Even when the waiter took the order of the table beside us, he didn't look our way to see if we needed anything. Half of the lamb was fat. Even the milk for the coffee had gone bad. It was just a bad experience. Under normal circumstances this would be one star but given the fact that we had exceptional experiences in the past, I am given three stars by giving them a benefit of the doubt.
