Lion Hot Pot - North Vancouver

The restaurant offers a wonderful array of choices and has a very welcoming staff. They boast an impressive selection of meats; we especially loved the beef tongue during our visit.

In terms of the food, the hot pot did not meet our expectations. We were hoping for an authentic Sichuan-style experience that would deliver the perfect combination of spiciness and numbness, but we were quite let down. Honestly, I could have prepared a much better hot pot at home with ingredients from T&T. While the prices were fair, the lackluster service and subpar food will certainly deter me from returning to this restaurant.

One of my wife and I's favorite places to eat! Whether for lunch or dinner (the menu is the same), the owner never lets us down. The prices are excellent, and the portions are generous—there's no way you’ll leave here hungry. There’s a wide variety of options to choose from, including seafood, chicken, pork, beef, duck, and more!

The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beef, which exceeded my expectations! Additionally, they offer a vegan pot option as well. Overall, I would give the food a perfect rating of 5 out of 5!
