Eighties - North Vancouver

The new owners have done a good job, which made the 80s a North Shore favorite for so many years. Breakfast was as good as ever (maybe even better? , and a number of old employees remain. My wife ordered her usual, highly adapted omelet while I ordered the classic breakfast Special B. I can report that the pancakes are as good as ever, and if the omelette tastes better, it was because the kitchen uses fresh eggs daily, our server said. Sometimes a good thing can be even better.

The 80s we know and loved are back. Last Sunday morning we enjoyed a perfect diner breakfast. Our orders were taken immediately and our food arrived about 10 minutes later. Not gourmet, but excellent food and wonderful service, that is exactly what we wanted. Thanks to our server Joshua and manager Natasha. You're doing everything right!

First time to visit this establishment. Service was quick. I ordered the Clubhouse comes with fries). The meal came fast and I was pleasantly surprised as the portion was big and it had real turkey breast on it. It was quite tasty. Prices are actually pretty low compared to most restaurants. It was a nice change to have some good food. I will definitely be back .

80’s “NEW” new owner, Noel, brings back the ‘Cheers’ feel that we have all grown to know from the Eighties that Johnny and his family created over the decades! The service was excellent and our meals were quick and delicious! All of you long time customers and new customers too need to give Noel’s Eighties combined menu a try! You will not be disappointed My next menu choice will be the “Loaded Grill Cheese”! Look forward to seeing your familiar faces at Eighties in the near future! ‍
