A busy place to visit if you’re meeting a friend for coffee or having lunch with family. It was busy at lunch on a weekday. Our rating is below (5 is the highest)Service: 4 – if you’re dining in, you’ll get a number they’ll bring your food to the table.Ambience – 4 – nice casual contemporary café – I loved the couch 2 chairs beside the gas fireplace. Maybe a challenge if you have more than 4 people dining in. Ideal for 2 people. It was busy. If you intend on dining in, you’ll need to be here before the peak times.Food: 4 If you love desserts gooey cinnamon buns, go no further. There are lots of desserts (I counted over 36 kinds of dessert bars) pastries. They have simple lunch items such as soup (only had one type of soup) grilled sandwiches/paninis. If you like good quality coffee, they serve Illy. We had the tomato basil soup which I found a bit on the salty side. We shared the spicy chicken sandwich which wasn’t too spicy. There wasn’t much chicken inside and found it a bit dry. The sandwich was about $15.A nice local coffee place to visit whether you’re in the Edgemont neighbourhood or enroute to Grouse Mountain. It’s worth the detour. There’s free street parking around the area.

This new spot is bound to become a favorite in Vancouver. Tamera Clark's pastries are already renowned for being exceptional. As someone who leans more towards savory than sweet, I have to let you in on a little secret about this new bakery: the sausage rolls are absolutely top-notch. Having grown up in Europe and sampling sausage rolls throughout the EU and UK, I can confidently say that Tamera Clark's—and now BjornBar—serve some of the best I've ever had. Enjoy, Vancouver! You’re in for a real treat!

The food is fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and cozy!
