Bamboo Gardens Chinese Restaurant

I ordered the Dal Mumbai and forced myself to finish it. I travel across Canada and frequently eat Indian. This was the most bland Dal that I have ever eaten and the side of steamed rice was equally disappointing.Too bad, because when I found the restaurant and read the other reviews I thought it was going to be great.

The Mango Lassis were the best I've had. Comparable food to what you can get in Little India. The Pakoras were terrible and when we were there their music system wasn't working so you had a loud background static. Bathroom is not great.That said the Tandoori was perfect, the lamb curry was tender and flavourful. The space is small and the tables sit four comfortably but larger groups may have a problem. Not super kid friendly,

We love Indian food and used to like this restaurant. During our last visit however we found out that none of the bathroom faucets even worked. Pretty sure that no one washes their hands in there. This kind of lack of hygiene should not be allowed in Canada. The service was terrible, he couldn't care less the bathroom faucets didn't work and he made us clear our own plates so he could put down our main orders.

I went here for lunch before venturing over to the movie theater for a matinee. I was promptly greeted and once the server was finished with the group already there, he came over to me and gave me a menu as well as filling my water glass. He was very on top of things throughout my whole visit and the food was very delicious. I will definitely come by here again.

Stopped in for a couple of dishes after a movie. The aroma is very inviting when you open the door and the dishes do not disappoint.We had the Alaska cod in green curry and the chicken masala also excellent.Great little restaurant, well worth trying!!
