The patio is not bad, however the inside of the restaurant is dark, old and needs updating (except for the bar which is okay). The food is really not good. The soup was cold, the lava cake was cold inside, the pasta was under seasoned and dry, the bread was dry and fell apart in a crumbly manner. At least two other people at our table felt that the food was not good (Peak burger and chicken sandwich). Service was honestly not bad our server was efficient, she provided things when needed, and she was always around and available. Our food and drinks came out at a decent time. I would not come back here nor would I recommend it to anyone. I can honestly say I wasn't expecting much, and it was never my choice to come here.
The restaurant offers stunning views of Vancouver and the water. Despite only trying a bowl of soup, we were impressed by its quality. The Winter Wonderland drink was a hit with our group. The service was excellent. We would definitely return if we ride the sky ride again.
I am a frequent visitor at Altitudes, which is like an oasis for me as a hiker and snowshoe enthusiast. The service here is always friendly and courteous, with some servers even remembering you when you return. The food is consistently delicious, and sometimes I just enjoy a beer and fries, which they are happy to accommodate. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with a spectacular view, as expected. I recently brought my grandkids here for Santa's Breakfast and it was fantastic! The servers and management deserve commendation, especially Darian. I will definitely be returning to Altitudes.
Feeling unhappy with the dismissive and discourteous manner in which we were treated, we decided to leave without placing any orders due to slow service. We witnessed unprofessionalism during our short time at the restaurant and have no plans to return or recommend Altitudes Bistro to others. Instead, we opted to dine at the cafe downstairs, where we enjoyed views of Grouse Mountain at more affordable prices.
Worst service EVER!! I would like to tell you about the food but we didn't even have chance to get our drinks. I totally understand with covid you have less servers but you don't have one server for 12 tables and keep filling the patio. After 30 minutes of not getting our drinks we decided to leave so we let the server know and we found her also making the drinks! I really hope she gets paid well.
