Kitscheners Vintage Cafe

I stopped by this amazing and unique vintage cafe for a quick drink and I didn't want to leave! It was a delightful experience for all the senses. I couldn't resist indulging in a freshly baked scone and an ice cream treat served on beautiful china plates, all while enjoying the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The cafe is decorated with tasteful retro items that are available for purchase, there was gentle music playing in the background, and the staff were all very friendly and relaxed. This place is a must-visit when in Tynemouth village, I can't wait to go back!

Visited last Sunday and had the gf chocolate brownie which was delicious and I’m so happy they stock raspberry fentimans. Lovely little cafe. Always pop in for a drink and cake when I’m up that way

We decided to give this cafe a go whilst visiting the area. We were seated and given menus, we knew what we wanted so we put them down and waited. After 20 minutes trying to get attention the order was finally taken. Two coffees and two bacon sandwiches. We sat a further 20 minutes watching staff wander aimlessly or making vain attempts at operating the coffee machine. Coffees eventually arrived and after a further 10 minutes the bacon sandwiches in sliced white bread. Ugh! Needless to say won’t be back.

We have visited this charming cafe three times. The food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend it. I appreciate the mismatched decor of old-fashioned tables and chairs, which brings back nostalgic childhood memories. It's definitely worth a visit.

Couldnt resist. while on hoilday you have to endulge dont you. Nice selection of cakes,traybakes etc we asked for some cakes to be boxed up to travel home with,gave as gift.went down a treat.
