I-fry - North Tyneside

Worst fish shop in North Tyneside. Once upon a time it was good here. The place is absolutely filthy, food quality is terrible and so is the service. Absolute bin. No wonder there’s never a queue.

Came for lunchtime special, chips and kebab meat, nice chips but kebab was shredded into almost mince, still quite tasty.

Fish was good as cooked to order but the chips were hard and tasted like half of them were a day old.

The chips were over-fried to the point where they were as hard as concrete, and the fish was covered in a batter that had been fried too many times. The mushy peas were unappetizing and ended up in the trash because the food was so bad.

The three of us had fantastic fish dishes at this restaurant. The service was excellent as well!
