Cafe Retro and Store - NORTH TAMWORTH

Last Wednesday, my two grandsons and I had lunch at Cafe Retro in Tamworth. We were there for a medical appointment and decided to have lunch at this cafe. The boys initially wanted to go to McDonald's for lunch, but after trying the amazing milkshakes and enjoying a tasty meal, they are excited to return to Cafe Retro. As an adult who cannot have gluten, I was pleasantly surprised to find delicious options on the menu. My meal and coffee were both tasty and served promptly. The staff were friendly and provided helpful meal suggestions. I chose a seating area where the kids could play while I took care of some paperwork. Cafe Retro is well-organized with two outdoor dining areas and a cozy indoor space. It is situated in a peaceful location away from the busyness of the shopping district in Tamworth. Thank you, Cafe Retro, for a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back when we visit Tamworth again.

I had no idea about this hidden gem in Tamworth until now! The staff were wonderful and the kids' play area is amazing. I will definitely be a regular customer from now on.

I had the most delicious veggie burger packed with flavor and a generous portion. My companions tried the fish burger and the Retro burger, which they raved about! Definitely give this cafe a try, you won't regret it! The coffee was also excellent.

This review deserves more then 5 stars!! Food was incredible! I brought my mum and 2 sister here for mums Birthday. The staff were super happy and friendly. Very relaxing atmosphere. The burgers that we had were literally amazeballs!! We will definitely be back.. Thanks heaps to Chris his wonderful staff.

Had lunch on Saturday with the family. Service was quick and very friendly.Milkshakes and food too were very good. The 2 small children loved the playground area,didnt want to leave. Highly recommend it. Will come again!!!
