The Moor End Spout - North Somerset

We booked a birthday lunch for 3 people at this restaurant. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found ourselves seated uncomfortably close to a wall with the 4th chair pushed up against it, leaving no room for our legs. We were unable to move to a different table as the restaurant was hosting a wake at the same time. It took over 2 hours for our 2-course meal to be served, with the main course being delayed due to the priority given to the guests from the wake. Despite the food being delicious, the mixed grill was disappointing. To make matters worse, when we paid at the bar, we discovered that a 10% service charge had been added without our knowledge. We would have appreciated being informed about the function taking place and the potential delays, especially since there was only one waitress on duty. This experience left our 91-year-old father, who was celebrating his birthday, disappointed. In the end, we decided to leave and purchase dessert from Tesco.

This restaurant offers excellent quality and a variety of gluten-free options. The service is wonderful and friendly. It has a low-key atmosphere with high-quality food. It is the perfect place for friends to meet.

I had a wonderful evening at the Moorend Spout! Fernando and his team were excellent. The customer service was fantastic, and the food was delivered promptly. The dishes were delicious and served in generous portions. I really enjoyed the new winter/autumn menu. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening!

This has turned itself around so much in a year, the previous owners ruined it. Now they have new owners, and the food is amazing. Reasonable pried too. Love the new set menu too, we have eaten from that 4 times this month!! Serving staff are all well presented and nothing is too much trouble. Even on a Tuesday they were busy, but we were served promptly with a smile each time food was served or taken away. Lovely warm feeling when inside the pub, and again will be back!

Just returned from Sunday lunch. I have to say what an amazing experience. I had the duo roast and I have to say it was pretty amazing. Lovely meat, roasties and beautifully cooked veg. Perfect gravy too!!! Excellent value for the cost. My son had the bacon cheeseburger and he said it was great. Nice atmosphere and very friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely be returning .
