729 Vegan - North Singapore

I've had loads of mee hoon kueh (veg and non-veg) all over Singapore, and this one is hands down the best! The kueh is thick and yet chewy, just the way I like it. Don't take my word for it, just order and give it a try!

Great they're all vegan. This place is configured so staff don't engage with customers; order from a computer screen menu, pay by smartphone. I would've liked to ask questions e.g., are there any non-caffeine drinks, are the drinks pre-mixed with sugar. I thus didn't buy any drinks. When food is ready a hatch opens, food appears, the receipt number gets shouted and the hatch closes. I don't ever recall such an impersonable dining out experience. I personally didn't like it. Food is basically starch, mock meat and sauce. Inexpensive.

Great for a light dinner. Self-servicing way of business. Update from previous review, this restaurant only accepts about 6 ePayment options. No cash, CDC vouchers can be used.
