The Queens Head Cullercoats

Ate here twice this weekend and the food was fabulous. Too much on the Saturday night I had to ask for a doggy bag as it would have been a waste to leave it. Sunday lunch I did manage to finish it and was able to eat dessert. Very busy place so reservation a must especially Sunday. Will definitely be back

Was expecting standard pub fare but was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were very friendly, place was very clean and tidy. Ordered fish and chips (what else at the seaside), food was spot on, well presented, lovely and fresh, decent sized fish, well cooked, chips were delicious. Definitely value for money.

Very welcoming pub with an excellent vegan selection of food. Accommodated me without a booking on a busy Sunday lunchtime. The food was absolutely fantastic. My only issue was which of the options to go for. I had Vegan Fish and chips and I'd put it up there with the best I've ever had. Very highly recommended.

No issues, had one drink whilst passing. Its a proper local pub, local people..usual drinks on offer not real ales or ciders) you would get with a normal a average pub
