Zorba's Pizza Pub - North Providence

We enjoyed delicious food from start to finish in a friendly atmosphere. This was our first visit since moving to North Providence a couple of months ago. The De la Cruz Family highly recommends checking out Zorba's Pizza and Pub!

The toppings were carelessly applied, as if they just tossed them on. The Zorba's special had very few toppings, mainly green bell peppers and onions, with hardly any meat on either pizza. The crust was extremely thin—while some people prefer thin crust, this one was both flimsy and soggy. Additionally, the size of the pizzas was surprisingly small for the price; we paid around $29 for two small pizzas, each approximately 12 inches. I decided to leave a cash tip, hoping to give them the benefit of the doubt. I understand that finding reliable help can be challenging these days, so I'm willing to give them a second chance. Perhaps the regular pizza chef was off that night or they were just having an off day. Coming from a family that owned a successful restaurant for many years, I know how hard it is to maintain quality and service. I plan to return in a few months and order the same pizzas to see if they've improved. I also feel that the owner's response to my review didn't quite address my concerns—he suggested I might have been having a bad day. If you've been making pizzas for forty years and that was your best effort, maybe it’s time to consider retirement. I will return and give them another shot, and this time, I'll be sure to take pictures.

The best calzone in RI. I had calzones at other places, and they were too oily. Zorba has the best all around. The flavor is rich and is not too greasy. I always get the large calzone and it comes with not just one, but two sides of marinara sauce. No more paying extra for extra sauce because one is never enough to dip the whole calzone.

First time ordering from Zorba's and got delivery through Uber eats delivery took over a hour but that's on Uber eats. I have to say the wait was definitely worth it great pizza and steak n cheese grinder. Definitely will be making this a regular place to order pizza and grinders
