Pagoda Restaurant - North Pole

We were staying at the North Pole Hotel and were in need of dinner. Thankfully the shuttle driver stated that this restaurant serves the best Chinese food in the state of Alaska. I was so impressed with his recommendations and thus I took the plunge....The Mongolian beef was plentiful and delicious. My son enjoyed the steak however, I made the mistake of saying well done which resulted in the steak being over cooked (my fault). I must say the service is stellar and each individual I encountered provided star service. That was wonderful! Great food and good service always result in returning guests.

Ok, remember your in North Pole Alaska, the food was very good and the service very good, please remember your in the middle of nowhere! I have eaten here for years, it’s very good

As we were driving into North Pole, I noticed Pagoda's billboard saying Try our steak and thought that was bizarre (it's a Chinese place). Anyways, fast forward to dinner time and I was looking for a place to eat and Pagoda was...highly rated. And it was featured on Food Network. Ok, I'm sold. The food was great. General Tso's and Orange Chicken were excellent. Please note you can get any dish as a combination plate this isn't clear from the menu just ask your server. So for like I got a wanton soup started, then main dish (chicken, rice, eggroll). The service was incredible all friendly, fast, efficient. The place was spotless employees constantly tidying up, vacuuming and very personable "How you doing fellas? Can I clear that for you boys really great. Definitely come eat here if you're in Fairbanks or North Pole. Great place!

Wife saw on Triple D and wanted to five it a try. Even though it had been a while on Triple D, the food was still as good as it looked on TV. The Walnut Shrimp was really well prepared and tasted amazing. Recommend it...if you go. Had the Sesame Seed Chicken and that was very well cooked also. I do recommend that you ask how big the portions are and make your decision on that on what to order. In our case it was a little over whelming and took some food with us to eat later. Go and at least you say you have been if at the North Pole.

Super popular restaurant because these folks have it mastered. Service is fantastic in an area where no one has help. The staff works together as a team to make sure every guest is well taken care of. We were surprised and delighted because the place...was packed. Our water glasses were never empty. The food? OMG, so good. It came highly recommended and was way better than expected. Just go!
