Outlaw Tamales - North Pole

Absolutely our favorite! We come up from Az for the summer and it's hard to find good Mexican food here! But she nails it from the hot sause to all her tamales!! Great food!

Absolutely the best tamales in the area! Our favorite are the beef tamales but they are all very good. The owner is always so kind and genuine and it always makes my day to visit with her.

Surprised to say the least. Not bad, the wrapping could be improved as it shouldn't be in the tamale but overall taste was spot on a steal deal! $3 for a tamale, yes please. Also, it's a take out spot so perfect for on the go def check them out.

Okay. So, I've been driving past this little hut for years now and have never tried her tamales. What a foolish thing to do! My spouse brought home six tamales and a few salsas as a surprise for dinner. We had the chicken tamales and the pork tamales as she had already sold out of the beef (this was late afternoon). They were great! Nice meaty flavors, soft, and good sized. The lady in the booth was very friendly and her prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back!

I had the pork tamale and the black bean tamale. Also tried the verde salsa. All was outstanding. Lots of meat in the tamales. The perfect combination. The owner was fun to talk to. This place does great business for a reason!
