Perkins Bakery - North Platte

The food was hot,, the food was tasty, the chicken soup was awesome on a cold day. However, this has to be the first time I have ever visited a Perkins that I had not one person asked me if I wanted dessert lol. I don't remember the last time I got out of a Perkins restaurant without a piece of pie, but as I really don't need a piece of pie it's just as well.

My overall score for DIESE Perkins in North Platte is: One before you get crazy and ask how a chain could get this kind of class, it is really all due to a person. We were greeted at the Hostess booth, which quickly brought us to our seats and made us choose from some different options. Then she asked what we want to drink, coffee and that came delivered quickly from the same person. Then she came with the menus and left. Then she came out to ours or we ordered the usual type of breakfast that I had 80 restaurants servers all over the country and the food was decent. Then she came out to serve us. Then went to welcome new customers and then went to take orders and deliver orders from other customers. It was then that I realized that it was exactly one person working the front of the house. Greeter, Cashier, Server, Busboy. This one person served the entire restaurant itself and was in a great mood and very friendly. I really don't know how she did it. I specifically asked her if she was alone and she said there was a person in the kitchen, so she wasn't alone. Wow. This person should be the patron saint of breakfast places. She was amazing and I hope more servers were like them.

We had a great experience with our family of 40 on Sunday morning. Beckett was fantastic. We were at 9 and around 11, which I thought was great for the size of our group. The food was delicious. How to get rid of Perkins crew, stop it!

Delicious and perfectly prepared breakfast at a great price. I recommend the chickens fried steak and eggs, I ordered takeout and got eggs over medium and gravy on the side, and that's exactly what I got. Very fresh and hot!

Our server was EXCELLENT!!! The food was great, the restaurant was clean and our group of 16 was very efficiently accommodated. The food was served quickly. The menu was varied with strawberries. Very recommended!
