Went to Good Life on the Bricks on Thursday evening the 10th of August. A party of nine adults, one asked for a beer, he got it 15 minutes later.. The food? Way below average, chicken so over done it needed a steak knife to cut. Brisket that was more like overdone chuck roast, it definitely was not what they said it was. Everyone's food was cool to the touch, three didn't get what they ordered (didn't seem to bother the staff). Nine family members and friends, none of us will be back nor will we recommend for others to try..
Sorry to say this, but this was the worst BBQ of my life. Maybe it's good enough for the locals in town. But if you're just passing through on the highway heading to go mountain bike, hike in the mountains know anything about food. This place will (sadly) disappoint.
The chicken was to tough to eat, the brisket was at best chuck roast (possibly boiled). Staff didn't get the orders correct and didn't seem to be concerned. Pretty sure I'll never go back, and I definitely can't recommend the place...
Unfortunately, the experience here was super disappointing. The restaurant was dirty upon entering, but being that this wasn’t a chain restaurant, we wanted to give it a chance. The service was super slow, and when we finally got our food, special requests weren’t followed, food was cold, and overall was simply not good. My husband couldn’t even finish his dish due to the chicken being cold. We were satisfied with our server as he was super attentive and checked in with us frequently. The food/cooks and overall environment????
