Blake Hill North Perth

We came here for their dinner service last night. We love the cosy ambience of the restaurant and the service is warm and friendly. As for our meal, we had the grazing board as an entree and they were all house made and really delicious. We had the lamb shoulder for our main, the meat was tender, fall of the bone and the sauce complements the dish really well. We also ordered a side of fries and the fennel honey aioli was beautiful. We will definitely be back again.

I went with friends to Blake Street Merchant twice last week, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Lunch on Wednesday was delicious. The service, too, was outstanding. I had the soup and I added some toast as an accompaniment. The toast cost an extra $6.00! My friend and I paid and left separately. She phoned me mid-afternoon shocked at the price and to check that the price she had paid was what I had paid. (We had exactly the same meal. For Friday’s breakfast I ordered one scrambled egg, a grilled tomato and mushrooms. The mushrooms and grilled Roma tomato cost an extra $9.00. The service on Friday was lacklustre. We came here on a whim after a casual recommendation and we were not disappointed. Speedy, friendly service. The big breakfast was pretty standard but did the job. The waffles were also delicious and really filling. The only thing I would say is the strawberry cream accompaniment was extremely buttery and not a pleasant texture.
