Castaway Beach And Grill

We visited the Castaway Beach Bar and Grill, which was bittersweet as it was their last day in operation. It's clear that in their prime, the hotel and restaurant were vibrant places to enjoy. Situated right on the beach, it must have been a great spot to relax. We just ordered a drink during our visit.

Our trip was quite spontaneous, with 40 family members just a mile down the road. The room we stayed in felt quite dated, and the carpet was dirty and sticky, so I advised my family not to walk around barefoot. On the positive side, the bathroom was clean, and the room had a pleasant smell. The tiki bar was very nice, offering a limited but reasonably priced lunch menu. The pool may be small, but it was clean. One of the best features was that all the rooms are oceanfront, providing a wonderful view of the beach.

Very good food. Direct access to beach. There was also a tournament going on for cornhole game. Very good vibe, parking might be tough to find over the weekends.

This is the ideal tiki bar for a day at the beach! You can easily stroll over to grab a bucket of drinks or some delicious strawberry daiquiris, plus a shot or two before heading back to the sand. The bartenders are always laid-back and friendly, making for a great atmosphere.

A fun spot with a few things on the menu. Pool is open to customers. Views of the ocean being practically on the beach. A few games to play, some good cocktails and bartenders are all very friendly. My second year hanging out here and I'll be back in afew weeks as well! Smoking allowed at the bar.
