Saffron Indian Food - North Miami Beach

The food is ok. Nothing authentic, not so flavourful as much as other Indian restaurants but good enough. If your expectations are not too high, come here.

I stopped in at 2:30 to ask to see a menu and was offered a lunch special, there was no mention of closing at 3pm and it was not posted in the hours in the door. I mentioned that I was a vegan and the server said they had vegan options and could make aloo gohbi which was delicious, the naan was fresh and tasty, the samosa was delicious the lentil soup good but very tiny. The desert however was a milk based rice dish, and since I am vegan I could not eat it. The waiter came out at 3:05 and asked if I was almost finished bc they were closing and then would reopen later for dinner. The lunch and two sparkling water the meal ended up being almost $27. The food was good but I didn't not like being rushed. If had known they closed I could have taken the food togo.

This location is closed. We drove 20 miles to reach there and there is nothing but an empty space. We tried to call twice before coming but the phone kept on ringing. We were assuming that may be it is busy or the number is wrong.....

The restaurant is closed indefinitely. The lights for their sign still lights up... Grubhub/Yelp still managed to take my order and said it was ready within 40 min. I drove to the location to find out it does not exist anymore. Contacted support and waiting for a refund. Please correct the issue yelp! Thanks.
