The Plantbase Store - North London

We are thrilled to have found this chain of supermarkets. While they are not completely vegan or vegetarian, they offer a wide variety of vegan food with a focus on East Asian cuisine. As frequent consumers of Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese food at home, this place was a refreshing discovery for us vegans.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover the extensive vegan offerings at this Asian supermarket in Camden. They have a wide range of vegan specialties from Asia, including various mock meats like fake bark and pigs, Japanese noodles, and Jackfruit products. The coolers and shelves stocked with vegan bungalows, sweets, and snacks really impressed me.

I really enjoy the plant-based store. Interestingly, I was there yesterday and noticed it was a new listing on HappyCow today. This location is great, although it is smaller than other plant-based stores. It is located within Longdan, so you can find the plant-based section on the right side. Plant-based carries a wide variety of vegan products, not just Asian food. They offer vegan cheese, milk, tofu, sauces, desserts, and more. They also have a wonderful selection of packaged ramen to choose from. Overall, it is a fantastic place to shop.

We are very pleased to have discovered this chain of supermarkets. They are not fully vegan (nor fully vegetarian) but they have a wide range of vegan foods with an East Asian focus. For a few vegans who eat a lot of Japanese Korean Viet food at home, this place was a rescue island.

Was so surprised to find the vegan selection in this Asian supermarket in Camden, there are shelves full of vegan specialties from Asia like various types of fake beef and pig, Japanese noodles and Jackfruit products. I was really impressed by the freezers and the vegan bungalows, sweets and snacks.
