So you need to plan accordingly to reserve a table. First service was excellent as our waiter was helpful, informative and pleasant. We went with the 16 oz NY Strip was cooked for perfection and delicious. My important other had the 7 ounces of Filet Mignon, which she had nothing but great things to say. We also had sides, including filled baked potatoes (I had better), Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. They were all huge portions and compliments of our steaks. Things started with some very warm and fresh French bread and bread rolls, which were very good. Merlot recommended it was a perfect match for the meat also prepared. The prices were comparable to the largest Vegas State Houses. That means you'll drop at least $200 for two. This does not include any additional bar drinks or desserts. Overall a nice experience at MRKT and would recommend if you stay in Aliante or in the immediate vicinity.
Full disclosure. I checked this restaurant before. But this time we ordered dinner instead of the lounge menu. We like the lounge area, so we asked to sit in one of their cabins. We had read about her Chateaubrion Special and decided that we would like to have it. Of course, they started with the wonderful rolls. On the outside soft on the inside, slightly salted. Yummy. We shared a Caesar salad that came in separate courts for each of us. It was nicely cut into small bites that I really enjoyed instead of cutting large pieces of Romaine. We both loved the salad, but it was still something too much for each one of us to eat. We rarely ordered the Chateaubriand Medium. For me it was perfectly cooked, my partner likes it done a little more. He really enjoyed the end cuts with a little of this crispy browning. It was cut table side and served with creamy cloud like buttermaly potatoes. In addition, we ordered the grilled asparagus, which was seasonally peeled and beautiful barbecue brands. Perfected and tasty. The Chateaubriand was tender. The outside crusted with amazing spices, completely surrounds each slice. I don't know what was best, but we both loved the outer ring. For dessert we had warm buttercakes, strawberries and raspberries on the side, with vanilla ice cream on the cake. The cake was indeed warm, and a spoon with vanilla ice cream melts on it, and a few strawberries.... We finished the evening with French press coffee. We had a wonderful meal. The only very small negative we felt somewhat neglected. The bar/lounge was very busy. Our waiter was the bartender. The lounge was very busy, and it was obvious that he was busy. Once we got his attention, he was very professional and certainly did his best to take care of us. All together a nice evening.
Cosy atmosphere and beautiful decor. Appetizers were good. Steaks were well seasoned and well cooked. The scallops were a little overcooked and a little fishy. The pages were nothing special and tasty.
Once again we had a fantastic steak dinner at Market. This time it was the porterhouse for two with whipped Yukon gold potatoes and green beans almondine. Service was great as well as the drinks.
My sister took myself and my nephew there. It?s a nice place and food was pretty good but my steak was tough cooked medium rare. The quality of the steak for the price wasn?t worth it. Mac n cheese, salad and mashed potatoes were good. Desert chocolate cake really nice. Lime cilantro sauce for the steak was ok. Staff super friendly but I?d pick a different steak place next time.
