The Brandon Works [wetherspoons]

The restaurant serves hot food in a clean environment with very helpful staff, particularly Emma. She is an excellent brand ambassador who is very helpful, pleasant, and professional.

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch while we were passing through. It appeared to be busy, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered a chicken burger, while my son and partner ordered beef burgers. When our meals arrived, the chips were warm. Unfortunately, all of our burgers had a strange smell and were very greasy. The pictures show what was left of our meal. On a positive note, the server was very friendly and the drinks were cold.

I visited this restaurant with my two children and ordered a burger meal, but only two burgers were brought to our table. I was told the missing burger would arrive shortly, but after 15 minutes, I had to remind the staff about it. To my surprise, they claimed I had only ordered two burgers and insisted I pay for an additional one due to their mistake. Not only did they forget to give my children ice cream, but they also showed no concern for my dissatisfaction or whether I would return. As I left, I saw the manager laughing, which was very humiliating. A good manager should prioritize customer satisfaction, especially when the staff make errors. Overall, I felt disrespected and frustrated, and the burger itself was not even that good. I will not be giving this restaurant another chance.

I have visited the Counting House in Glasgow and then Brandon Works in Motherwell. My review is with regards to the inconsistency of portion control and presentation. When I raised the matter with member of supervisory staff in the Motherwell Brandon works, I was told the Counting House in Glasgow portion control was incorrect. The supervisory member of staff walked away from me, which a far as she was concerned was the end of the matter. I feel my complaint was not taken seriously and the explanation given is far from satisfactory. Even showing the supervisory member of staff photos, my comments were not taken seriously or professionally. The cavalier attitude of customer service is totally unsatisfactory and unprofessional.
