Oasis Fish And Chips

Been using this chippy for years without any complaints. Really don't understand the one star reviews. Never had any problems with the staff either. Don't be put off, Use your own judgement.

The food was extremely oily and the chips were undercooked. It seemed like the cooking oil hadn't been changed in a long time. The staff were very rude when asked about the excessive oil. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

The batter was soggy and the chips were undercooked, absolutely disgusting. I couldn't even finish it and ended up throwing it away. This is the worst fish and chip shop in Scotland, I recommend avoiding it at all costs.

This popular take away [or sit in] is situated just on the fring of Cumbernauld Town Centre. It has plenty of parking space. The staff are friendly and efficient

I often call into Oasis when I get the urge for a good old fashioned belt of 'Special ' Fish and Chips but was not expecting the 'whale ' sized haddock that was served up to me last night! Usual crispy breadcrumbed batter and tasty, perfectly cooked fish but had to call for help to finish off 'Moby Fish '. Great chipper.
