White Lion Wine Bar Restaurant

What a joke! Do not go here. I booked a table online and even called a few days before to confirm. We arrived at 4:15 PM, and there was still no sign of life. My cousin, who is 70 years old and suffers from dementia, and our wives waited in the car until 4:30, which was the time for our meal. Yet, the place was still dark and locked up. I'm really frustrated by this. It seems like they have no regard for their customers. They were completely unprofessional and offered no support whatsoever. Avoid this place at all costs! Total joke!

I received a notification in the morning from the White Lyon that my reservation was canceled for April 1st, as they were not serving meals that day. I was very disappointed, especially since I had booked the table a week in advance, and there was ample time for them to notify me sooner. This was not a great customer experience. - C. Norman

Unfortunately, we dined at the White Lion on a night when they were short-staffed. It was disappointing that they didn't inform us when we arrived. We waited 25 minutes just to receive a menu, and then had to wait an additional hour for our starter to arrive. There was a 30-minute gap between the starter and the main course. We had to remind the waiter three times about the water we had ordered. It's a shame because the food was quite good, but the service was equally poor.

That loved eating, but on the day we went, the heating had failed, so we ate with our moms! I hope this will be sorted out so that next time is good.

Food was excellent and great value for money. Service was rather slow but the guy serving explained they were short staffed, in fact he was serving drinks and food on his own, he did a great job under the circumstances and was very welcoming and friendly.
