Letchworth Sports And Tennis Club

It was a very uncomfortable hour, and despite our efforts to enjoy the game, we felt extremely unwelcome by the men on the other court. It seemed to me that they were mature members who didn't appreciate children playing, even though the club is advertised as family-friendly. As we left the court, two of the men looked at us disapprovingly and shook their heads, which was disheartening. When I mentioned the men's behavior to the young girl at the reception as we were leaving, expecting her to be as surprised and disappointed as we were, her response was dismissive. She suggested that their attitude and language were due to them playing a game, and when I asked if the club frowned upon such behavior, she remained silent. I requested for this to be addressed by the management, as it had put us off the idea of joining the club, but she did not seem concerned. Sadly, this club is not the right fit for us, which is a shame because it seemed great on the surface. However, they need to work on creating a more family-friendly environment.

The Letchworth Tennis Club is a fantastic spot for families to enjoy playing tennis and grab a bite to eat afterwards. The atmosphere is delightful, the staff is friendly, and it has a welcoming family vibe. I have also attended some great parties here that were loads of fun!

I met a friend at this club for coffee, cake, and a catch-up today. I had never been to this club/cafe before as I didn't even know it existed. What a lovely place it is. The coffee was absolutely delicious, and I am quite picky when it comes to coffee. I also had chocolate cake, which was part of a deal when purchased with the coffee for £3.50. It seems to be a members club, but it is open to the public. The staff at the club were friendly and helpful. The food being served looked amazing, and after looking at the menu, I saw that the selection was varied and reasonably priced. It is definitely worth a visit, and I plan on going for lunch next time!

Beautiful tennis coach. my children also take their dancing courses at the event, so they visit the week several times. the staff is helpful and friendly, the facilities are clean and modern. the orchard café is great.
