Piazza 22 - North Haledon

We have been eating here since they opened… food is outstanding… always very friendly… we also had our daughter’s graduation party there Daniel is fantastic to deal with very accommodating with seating and menu … the day was beautiful and everyone called me to say how great everything was ….shout out to Daniel and Cleo and the entire staff ! A must try !!!!!

I am surprised by all of the 5 star reviews of this restaurant. I recently gave it a try. I ordered chicken francese shrimp scampi to go. Both portions were average at best. The chicken francese had only 2 potatoes on the side and the shrimp scampi was only enough for one small bowl. Both entree's had absolutely NO taste. None. There was no sauce on either of them. Just a little bit of juice in the bottom of the takeout container perhaps a tiny bit of lemon juice? I don't know. No garlic in the shrimp scampi. There are other Italina restaurants in Bergen County that are much better (particularly in Midland Park). I will not be going back.

I had no plans on coming to this restaurant but I'm so glad I did. THANK YOU GOOGLE! You must check in upstairs. I'm so glad we were seated because we had no reservations and they had big groups everywhere. The hostess was outstanding. She told us she was a retired teacher and that my cousin looked like her former student. She had us blushing the entire time. What a sweet lady. Next our server was exceptional. Sadly I can't remember his name. He was a older gentleman with glasses. If you see him grab him up! He gives the BEST SERVICE! Being the only dark skinned people in the entire restaurant, we didn't even feel not one bit out of place. They were so accommodating and pleasant. I think this was the best service I've had in years! Next the food! OUTSTANDING! We had the salad with apples, mozzerella, walnuts, and cranberries, calamari, Mixed seafood with pasta, and chicken pasta with mushroom and olives. I enjoyed every bite! We left nothing on our plates. I must go back to try other dishes. I pray the next experience is as top notch as this one.

Great place. Nice venue , indoor or patio dining. Authentic Italian Food. Not italian American food. Very nice , professional management. DANIEL is very attentive and happy to accomodate your needs! Very good food!!!

I didn't enjoy the restaurant because I found the menu to be strange and the food to be mediocre, despite the friendly staff.
