The food was good, although the grouper could have been improved. The drinks were fantastic, and the chips and salsa were quite delicious. They offer entertainment on certain nights throughout the week. While the service was a bit slow, our server was friendly. Overall, we had a great time at this place.
During our visit to the area, we tried both Cactus Jacks and the Nauti Parrot next door. We really enjoyed our experience at Cactus Jacks, where we ordered a crab leg combo that came with shrimp and corn. The meal was delicious and well-prepared, though I wish there had been sausage included in the boil. The seasoning was flavorful, and the crab was tender. While we were there for dinner, I noticed they offered some fantastic lunch specials, so I would definitely recommend stopping by for lunch. The $4 rum cocktail was fantastic! There was live music on Saturday night, and a poker tournament was taking place in the upper section of the restaurant. The staff was friendly, and there was plenty of parking available, considering that four restaurants and bars share the same lot.
I visited this restaurant this morning for the first time in a while. Even though they weren't fully open yet, they welcomed us to stay and enjoy some drinks until the kitchen started serving. The service and food were excellent. I had a chance to meet the new owner, Scott, who has really created a welcoming atmosphere. They offer some of the best beer prices in the Cape. With a lovely view of the river, tasty food, and affordable drinks, I will definitely be returning many times!
Delicious food, friendly service with lively music. We went mid-afternoon on a Saturday. While busy and they had an amazing band playing a wide variety of cover music, my date and I were still able to hold a conversation, enjoy the water views and the music as well. I found this hidden gem only because I looked on Yelp for something close to where I was with outdoor dining. This little yet lively place far exceeded my expectations.
Cactus Jack Waterfront Bar Grill, Marinatown Ln., N. Fort Myers, Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter. As the name implies it is on a river waterfront. So for those very very very few day that you are allowed to enjoy comfortable weather this is a good place to go. My server Cory did an outstanding job. I went with beef enchilada. No fried beans. : I will say this. I was surprize about the black beans. It actually had flavor. You could see onions in it. Unlike every other place I have tried where the black beans are bland. Ahh the beef enchilada and rice. Nothing to write about. Just bland rice on the side with typical floridian wannabe Mexican food. Maybe other good stuff but pass on this entree, unless you like black beans. This has a good ambience feel. So give it a try for that. Prices at lunch were reasonable.
