From soup, ribs, to fish and even children tender. We would definitely order again. With food alone they would get 5 stars, but customer service is important. The men were not satisfied with the younger woman behind the bar when they wanted to drink while waiting for food. She was rude, unprofessional and unpleasant. Thank you for the slightly older lady, the good service.
I ordered the fish. It was good taste, it would have been better if I had eaten there. They put the fries over my fish so that the steam of them created a soggy crust. Make a reservation if you plan on Friday or Saturday night.
The food was 10/10 great! We had the Buffalo Wing Soup, Garlic Bread Appitizer, Prime Rib, Alfredo and Ravioli. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere made for a pleasant evening.
A neighborhood popular here in northeast, PA. Very quiet early at noon. The food was decent, although I would not recommend the curly pommes, as they looked good, but the consistency of potato sticks like those you find in a can. The grilled chicken was tender and the bbq beef was tasteful. I had the fish that was good, but a little bit about fried too. The hot chopped sandwich was delicious after my dad. Will be back to try the dish.
On our first visit to Johnny B's, we got fried pickles as the appetizer, which were delicious and rivaled Fiddle Inn. We ordered the chicken tortilla and cheeseburger soup, as they were out of their signature buffalo wing soup. Both soups were good, but the tortilla soup was better. Entrees were clam linguine and veal parmesan without the red sauce (it typically comes with both). I come from an Italian family, so my opinion on such food is highly critical, but they both were delicious. Our server, Angel, was attentive and made sure to keep our drinks full throughout our dining experience; something often and easily overlooked. Will be back again.
