The cashier was very polite. I had beef and cheese. The Bratbeef was very tender. They took my name after I had ordered because nothing was done. The gentleman who called my name thanked me for my business. I can't expect to be back in the area to stop again. I live in New Jersey and drive a tractor trailer. It is extremely difficult to get good food and also hot in it. You can't just have a place to eat and say that's where I go, how you can do in a car. Not too many places welcome tractor trailers. You have a steady customer now when I'm in Maryland.

One of the best sandwiches I ever had was to one in Disney and had to stop at the rest of the stop. I really hope they build one in NoVA with me. Please try Earl of Sandwich, you will not be disappointed. The bread is phenomenal. That's not a wrong choice of sandwich here. Thank you!

I'm here three times. Did the “Original 1762” get three times and it is always excellent! Medium Rare Bratbeef with a Drava of Au Jus with lizards and pears Mayo on roasted bread! It is great, highly recommended!

The ham and sponge sandwich is EXCELLANT! My husband and I stop every time we drive through Maryland. THAT SAID...now I want to tell you what happened this week... we stopped, ordered, go to pay and WHAM!!! We said we didn't accept cash at that time... no explanation... No apology... don't worry... here we are, travel in our USA, on our highway, support our economy... really look forward to stopping for this sandwich...and said we can't have it because they NOT accept MONEY! BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
