The Wellow - North East Lincolnshire

Large green restaurant with king bed. that's a family restaurant, so a bit loud. Service-prompt and with a smile, although not terrible full. I asked on the line for a quiet table and that was what I have! I was disappointed by the abbot ale that tasted thin, and abbot was a very consistent pint over the years. on the other hand my wife was satisfied with the chardonnay. not huge; portioning the scampi was more like nuggets and the jumbo dog around the normal size elsewhere. Nevertheless, the meals were nicely cooked and the Thursday promotion, free dessert, was welcome. table serviettes the size consistency of a sheet toilet paper showed the attention to the running costs. it is easy to criticize the wellow, but the place is (imho) well run and the personal well motivated; lob compared to many similar large feeding holes. and the portions can be a little small, but so are the prices. I would recommend this palast, but not expect too much.

Last night the pub was busy, had a good atmosphere that graham greeted us with a smile that the service was good.

The bar staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and welcoming. Hope assisted us with choosing drinks and recommended dishes that were perfect for me and my family. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.
