Da Vinci - North East Lincolnshire

This place is terrible. I visited on a Friday and was shocked to see rats on the kitchen floor. The service was extremely slow - it took 45 minutes for my drinks and 2 hours for my food. This place should be closed down. To make matters worse, I witnessed a tragic incident where a child was harmed at the back of the restaurant.

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my visiting cousin. The restaurant was clean and lovely, with an extensive Italian menu. The food was freshly cooked and piping hot. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. The portions were generous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Last minute meal to start our holiday. Lovely friendly staff. Table we sat at (our mistake) was not clean but was cleaned straight away. Starters mains ordered. Starters nice but average. My partners main was a pizza which he said was nice but he ordered fries but chunky chips was given to us. I ordered fish risotto. The fish was hard and chewy. I can only imagine it was frozen fish mix that was used. Thankfully we didn’t pay for the risotto. Wine was nice also but we won’t be visiting again. I now have stomach pains so not looking forward to the rest of the night.

Nice little restaurant with very friendly staff. Food was good with nice selection of pizza and pasta dishes.

After a brief conversation I found myself with a 6.30 appointment for a lasagna.. got there and the place was already half full.. was quickly seated and browsing a menu.. drinks ordered and arrived within minutes..the waitress must of took my call earlier as she asked if mine was just a lasagna..I added a garlic bread..as I sat waiting for less than 10 mins the place was slowly filling up.. you need a reservation..we were packed in like sardines, but it just added to the charm of the place..there was 4 chefs and 4 waiters.. the chefs were all prepping and putting together fresh pizza and steaming dishes for the wait staff to serve..the waiters moved around the floor in a sort of dance they was taking them full circle round the restaurant in big circles..at 1 point everyone stopped and came to surround a table singing happy birthday to a embarrassed young guest..the chefs were even banging utensils it was mesmerising.. food wasn't long and it was delicious, I'm assuming the lasagna dish had been in the pizza oven as it was bubbling away for a while.. not the cheapest, but was worth it.
