Steak 'n Shake - North Druid Hills

Got a doordash order, it took a full hour and some change to make a burger, small fries and a shake. When the food arrived it was ice cold, my shake was melted and without whipped cream or whatever toppings they allow. tried to call to complain and someone picked up the phone then hung up so i couldn’t even leave a voicemail. absolutely ridiculous. never order here.

I have had Steak 'n Shake in the past, and wasn 't terribly impressed, but I thought I 'd give it another try. All things considered, it was pretty solid! I wouldn 't say their drive thru was quite fast food speed, but it was worth the wait. Even though they weren 't my favorite, I was given a generous amount of fries, which was nice. The best part was definitely the double steak burger though. The smash burger crunchy edges were excellent. I 'd probably add more toppings next time, though. I usually like lettuce and tomato in addition to pickles and onions. Definitely a good burger, though!

I had no expectations cause the reviews seemed bad but this place is great! The inside has a classic 1950 burger joint frel woth a claw machine and the food was pretty tasty. I probably won't get the same thing next time because the garlic bread steak burger was a bit oily, but what can I say, it's in the description. Also, service was fast and the food price was very fair. Will definitely go back.

We shared a plate of mini cheeseburgers and French fries washed down with a malted milkshake. Delicious and good service.

It's been a looooooong time! The food was great! The waitress rocked!
