Przekaż informację zwrotnąSadly the Victorian Cafe closed a few months ago and the lovely building has since hosted a pop-up shop for The Shaftesbury Snowdrop Festival, then a trendy "Cap Factory ' with tweed caps made on site and it is currently home to a dry cleaner and repairs shop. Watch this space I suggest!
You must make sure to find this quaint cafe located to the left of the Arts Centre. Housed in one of the town's oldest buildings, you will feel like you are stepping back in time when you enter its stone walls and cozy fireplace. John greets you warmly and presents a delicious array of light, healthy snacks, and cakes. They always have a fantastic homemade soup available as well.
The café next to the Arts Centre Gallery is a hidden gem. The owner allowed me to leave my flyers in the gallery as long as I bought my coffee from him. I enjoyed two coffees and a delicious chocolate twist with my aunt. The owner may come across as grumpy, but I found his demeanor amusing. The quality of the coffee and baked goods, including homemade bloomers, made up for any quirks. This café is a welcome break from the pretentiousness often found in Shaftesbury. I will definitely be returning tomorrow.
I visited this place again and found the service, food and the place to be the finest. Run by john a fitness guy this cafe has to be the best with a great fresh menu that changes daily, try it.
The restaurant is a great spot to relax and enjoy delicious food. The decor is unique, the staff is friendly, the bread is intriguing, and the coffee is excellent.
