The White Lion - North Dorset

During my holiday, I had a delightful meal with my relatives at this charming and quirky inn across from the water. The inn is full of character and charm, and the garden is beautifully decorated with colorful flowers on the terrace. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The Sunday dinner was delicious, with generous portions and a variety of desserts. Just be aware that there are a few steps inside the inn and in the garden, so it may not be easily accessible for those with mobility issues. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wish this inn was closer to home. I highly recommend it as an excellent dining option.

We had a wonderful experience at this fantastic local pub/restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and efficient, creating a great atmosphere for a lovely Friday dinner with friends. We all loved our food and will definitely be returning to try more dishes on the menu. I would recommend making a booking to ensure you have a table secured.

I recently moved to the area and visited this restaurant for the first time this week. What a fantastic pub right on our doorstep! The character of the building is amazing and we were impressed with the garden out back. They also have a great selection of beer, ales, and cocktails. I'm excited to finally try their food.

Really nice lunch before they go to stourhead. eat delicious and exactly what we were looking for. very courtesy of dog and baby, sitting at a table hidden in the bar area. will definitely return and recommend.

Very pretty garden, pretty country pub, lovely customer service, family friendly, gorgeous food! They have live music sometimes too which is good fun, a nice crowd with the inevitable small group of mouthy regulars who think they own the place but other than that a real find and perfect for visiting with friends.
